Sean Beaty began his career as a staff accountant with General Direct Marketing, Inc., a subsidiary of one of the nation's largest timeshare developers and operators, the Shawnee Group. As a staff accountant, Beaty became familiar with spreadsheet and accounting applications for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and interest and depreciation schedules. Later he became Hotel Accountant for The Yachtsman Resort Hotel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and in 1991, he became Controller for the Yachtsman Resort Hotel and all South Carolina operations.

Having served as Vice President and Controller since March of 1992, with the formation of Gold Crown Management Inc., his primary focus is managing the daily financial operations including receivables, deposits, payables, payroll and employee benefits, including management by Gold Crown. His responsibilities also include information technologies for Gold Crown's corporate office and property. Mr. Beaty compiles financial statements and annual budgets and is in constant communication with independent auditors for the various associations.

As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Beaty oversees all homeowner association annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly financial reporting, board meetings reporting and presentation, reserve funds investment, insurance and special projects analysis.

Beaty is currently serving as President of the Carolina Forest High School All-Sports Booster Club and served as Treasurer of the Quail Creek Property Owner's Association from 1997 - 2001.

Beaty received a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and a minor in pre-law from Indiana University of PA. He received his master's degree in business administration from Coastal Carolina University.

Beaty and his wife, Heidi, who is a certified surgical technologist and nursing school student at Conway Medical Center, have three teenage daughters; Katelyn, Cassidy and Kelsi.
