Leslie Godwin

North Charleston, SC

Association Administrator

At a very young age I was a military transplant to South Carolina from Bethesda, MD, where primarily grew up and was educated in the North Charleston area.
After graduation from high school I decided to attend Trident Technical College where I studied Clerical Accounting. Upon completion, I was immediately hired by the Medical University Hospital where I held various positions some of which were Coder, Patient Registrar, Night Supervisor, and Financial Counselor. (The first 16 years of my career was in Health Information Services then I transferred to the department of Patient Access Services). In December 2014, after almost 30 years if service, I retired from MUSC Hospital, then shortly thereafter, decided to go back to work and was hired by Pillar Hotels at the Holiday Inn-Mt. Pleasant as a Front Desk Associate. I am a divorced mother of two beautiful daughters, the oldest, a local cosmetologist and the younger is a Staff Sergeant in the USAF. I enjoy problem solving, reading and working with children
