Q. I'm unsure about serving on the Board of Directors of my Association. They don't get paid for their time and it can be a thankless job. Why would I want to serve on the Board of Directors?

A. A good Association does not run well by accident. Q. Why does Gold Crown share so openly its knowledge and experience?

A. It is our strong desire and purpose to help Associations and its volunteer Board of Directors through the complex path of the fulfillment of its fiduciary duties as prescribed in a professional and trustworthy manner.

Q. What is the length of the contract for management services provided by Gold Crown?

A. Gold Crown's standard term is for one (1) year. However, the contract allows the Association to terminate the contract "without cause", by giving written notice of a time period (usually 30, 60 or 90 days) included as desired by the Association. Gold Crown's success is based on an open and transparent relationship with its clients. We are so confident that you will be satisfied with our services, termination is not an issue. To prove it, we provide an easy termination clause.

Q. Does Gold Crown have a Manager Fidelity/Crime Coverage Policy?

A. Yes. Gold Crown has a $500,000 policy. Fidelity coverage is also known as employee dishonesty coverage. Even though we have internal cash controls in place, and we have never had an issue with any Association, we believe it is critical that an Association require its Manager to have this coverage. Due to the fact, the Manager handles the funds and financial transactions of the Association.

Q. How much will it cost to get a proposal from Gold Crown Management?

Terry Bascher, Hired As VP of Operations for Dallas-Fort Worth

RealManage is pleased to announce the hiring of Terry Bascher as the Vice President of Operations for the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

Terry has over 25 year's business leadership service within the hospitality and community management industries. Her background encompasses being an executive leader and consultant for 20 years serving private clubs, resorts, and golf operations, specializing in revenue growth and customer service excellence.

Before joining the RealManage family, she served as senior vice president of management for six years providing direction and leadership to community managers, directors, and boards, including new developments and established associations. Ms. Bascher has also authored articles on customer service and marketing for The Boardroom and Club Management Magazines and served as a Speaker/Trainer for Crittenden, The Professional Marketing Association and Club Manager's Association of America.

Sandra Vela Mora, PCAM®, Promoted to Executive VP of Operations

RealManage is pleased to announce the promotion of Sandra Vela Mora, PCAM®, to Executive Vice President of Operations.

Ms. Vela Mora joined RealManage in 2017 as a Senior Vice President over its Houston operations. Due to her success in a leadership role for the Houston market, she was promoted to Division President expanding her leadership to the San Antonio market in 2019 to help them reach their next level of growth. With the success of San Antonio now well in hand, and due to our strong growth and expanded footprint, the position of Executive Vice President of Operations position was created for the organization in order to provide more executive support for our national operations. Ms. Vela Mora’s promotion to this position will play a pivotal role in RealManage’s continued growth and expansion.
