Julie is a Certified Manager of Community Associations, Association Management Specialist and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) by the National Board of Community Association Managers, the PCAM is the most advanced certification available in community Association profession. She pursued all of these designations while continuing to provide dedicated service to each of the communities she managed.

From 1979 to 2004 Julie held various positions within the commercial insurance industry. Working from 1979 to 1990 as an Underwriting Assistant and Customer Service Representative she was responsible for fostering a close working relationship between the producer and clients for commercial business accounts. In 1990 she was hired by Policy Management Systems, a computer software company as a Supervisor to manage the daily operations for underwriting, data entry and customer service departments.

Julie is a member of the Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center and currently serves as board member on the Richland Northeast High School Education Foundation which raises funds to provide scholarships for students and teachers to enhance their academic opportunities. She also serves as co-chair for the Community Associations Institute Conference and Tradeshow.
